By making the cases identical, you decrease the design and setup costs of the subsequent cases. Can I just take a photo of it?<\/span>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<div id=\"accordion-1873033047-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-1873033047-label\">\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\nWe make every effort to achieve perfection with our cases. Of course, perfect fit requires an exact measurement of each component. Every contour should be accounted for and integrated into the design, along with measurements that are accurate to within 0.001\". We also take into account the surface texture and friction test the fit as we design the final product. This will ensure that there is no slop in the case, maximizing the capacity and providing the most protection in the event of an impact.<BR><BR>\r\n\r\nQuite often, the rough measurements provided on consumer websites will be misleading and yield poor results for our laser cutting process. The best way to ensure a perfect fit is to send the equipment in for measuring. When we coordinate it properly, your equipment is safe and is returned to you within 48 hours.<BR><BR>\r\n\r\nWhen shipping equipment into our office, please address it to:<BR><BR>\r\n\r\nJason Case Corporation<BR>\r\n4809 Hillsborough Road<BR>\r\nDurham NC 27705<BR><BR>\r\n\r\nIf you do not want to send the equipment in, you have the option to provide your own measurements. When providing your own measurements, you will sign a disclaimer acknowledging that you accept full responsibility if the equipment doesn\u2019t fit correctly. We are unable to adjust the foam later. In other words, it is not possible to \u201cfix\u201d the foam after its been laser cut. If we have to re-do the case due to a mistake, we\u2019ll pretty much be starting over from scratch so the price will reflect that.<BR><BR>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"p1\">In summary, there are 2 distinct options for how you'd like to measure the equipment:<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>1) Send the gear in <\/b><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">The Process<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">You will send your gear in.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">Your gear will be checked in upon arrival to our facility.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">Detailed measurements will be taken of the gear.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">Test cuts will be performed to ensure maximum quality.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">We will return the gear in the safety of the new custom case.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">This option guarantees that your gear fits correctly every time.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">Organizing your gear<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Please include this form with your shipment:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">If you are purchasing the gear new from a reseller, you may have that reseller send it directly to our facility, saving you the step of having to re-package it and send it to us.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">Please DO NOT ship us partial kits with missing accessories, as we will not be able to rent the required gear.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">We also do not \u201clook up\u201d measurements using any resources found online or from manufacturers.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">Use bubble wrap or an alternative padding solution when sending delicate items.<\/li>\r\n \t<li class=\"p1\">If you do not have a sturdy box to ship your gear, we can supply you with a loaner case upon request.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">Shipping<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">You can use your preferred carrier for shipping such as Fedex and UPS.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Shipping address:<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Jason Case Corporation\r\n4809 Hillsborough Road\r\nDurham NC 27705<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">If you\u2019d prefer to use our Fedex shipping account to send in orders, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jasoncases.com\/jc_custom\/shipping\/fedex\/inbound_label\/\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\">click here to generate a Fedex shipping label.<\/a><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">We are not responsible for damage while in transit.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Please check with your camera insurance company to review their coverage policy.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">Walk-in visits<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">In rare instances we can arrange to have the gear dropped off in person, but this process comes with limited availability due to the inconvenience it presents for both the customer and our production team. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><span class=\"s2\">We will also not be able to create a custom case \u201cwhile you wait\u201d.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Typically our design and manufacturing process will take a period of 24 hours minimum.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>2) Provide your own dimensions<\/b><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"p1\">Depending on your project, providing just the rough dimensions will be sufficient.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>When using this option, generally we are limited to cutting X x Y x Z pockets into the foam.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Since we won\u2019t have the gear available to us to measure and perform test cuts to verify the fit of the items, we will not provide any guarantee that your items will actually fit.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We will rely entirely on the accuracy of your measurements.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Specialty cuts involving more than just basic XYZ are \u201cat your own risk\u201d, its common for miscommunication to arise when providing such instructions. We are unable to provide advice on how to measure your equipment.<\/p>\r\nWe accept measurements in both metric (mm) and imperial (inch). We keep all of the 130+ Pelican and Storm case models in stock and choose the best one specifically suited for your gear. However, the process is structured so that you don\u2019t have to do that. When we begin designing a case we already take into account weight and balance, logical flow, center of gravity, and maximize capacity based on multiple factors. Generally we will have a few questions for you specific to your gear, and you can inform us about anything special you may need to clarify for us at that point. Revisions to designs that have been processed may incur an additional cost.\r\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\t\r\n\t<div id=\"accordion-178046916\" class=\"accordion-item\">\n\t\t<a id=\"accordion-178046916-label\" class=\"accordion-title plain\" href=\"#accordion-item-will-you-show-me-a-mockup-of-the-design-before-you-make-it?\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"accordion-178046916-content\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"toggle\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><i class=\"icon-angle-down\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/button>\n\t\t\t<span>Will you show me a mockup of the design before you make it?<\/span>\n\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<div id=\"accordion-178046916-content\" class=\"accordion-inner\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-178046916-label\">\n\t\t\t\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, we don\u2019t generally do that. It slows down our production time and rarely produces better results. However, if you still require proofs we can deliver them to you for an additional fee. The project must be paid in full before any design work can begin. Any revisions that take place after the proofs are delivered will be billed separately.
